How do Bluetooth earbuds connect?

Bluetooth earbuds connect by pairing with your phone once. Open the charging case to put them into pairing mode, select them in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, and they are saved. After that, they reconnect automatically when you take them out of the case, as long as Bluetooth is on.

Pairing with Android

  1. Open the case with the earbuds inside until the light flashes.
  2. Go to Settings > Connected devices > Pair new device.
  3. Select the earbuds from the list.

Pairing with iPhone

  1. Open the case until the light flashes.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  3. Tap the earbuds under Other Devices.

What the charging case does

The case stores and recharges the earbuds, and on most models opening or closing it tells the earbuds to connect or disconnect.

Fixing connection problems

  • Make sure both earbuds and the case are charged.
  • Forget the earbuds in Bluetooth settings and pair again.
  • Clean the charging contacts in the case.
  • Reset the earbuds using the method in the user guide.

Frequently asked questions

Why is only one earbud working?

The other earbud may be flat, not seated in the case, or out of sync. Charge both, then reset and re-pair them.
