Compatibility and setup

The U17 pairs with Android 4.0+ / iOS 8.0+ smartphones over Bluetooth using its free companion app. Install the app, switch on Bluetooth and pair the watch from inside the app (not from your phone’s Bluetooth menu) so notifications, time and health data sync correctly. Can the U17 make and receive phone calls?

Yes. The U17 supports Bluetooth calling: once paired with your phone you can answer, reject and make calls from the watch using its built-in microphone and speaker. Keep your phone within Bluetooth range, around 10 metres.

Is the U17 waterproof?

It is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, so rain, sweat and hand washing are fine. Avoid hot showers, saunas, sea water and diving, as heat and pressure can damage the seals.

How long does the battery last?
